The second wife of Simon Pearson, Hannah Person, survived him. She was the daughter of Joseph Ball, who married in 1696 Raleigh Travers.

Mr. Stanard also found the will of Mrs Hannah Pearson, proven December 13, 1748. She names grandson Travers Cooke, grand-dau. Hannah Cooke, gr-da Hanna Daniel, gr-dau Elizabeth Travers Daniel, dau Elizabeth Cooke & Sarah Daniel. She was dau. of Jos. Ball, half sister of Mary Washington, and widow of Raleigh Travers.
