    • Birth record of daughter, Marie Marguerite, states he was a calvaryman in the parish of Castleheim, in Lorraine, France, but searches for Castleheim reveal no results. There is a town of Catternom in Lorraine, so I suspect this may be the town Claude is actually from. I don't know the French pronunciation of the town Catternom, but I think it may have been misinterpreted by the clergy.
