The recorded act of the nuptials show that the marriage was celebrated in the presence of Sr. Julien Esnoul, Des Croix, father of the groom; and Guillamette Nicolas, Dame du Verger, widowed mother of the bride; Sr. Nicolas Morin, doctor of medicine; Jeanne Pelagie le Jaloux, Dame Voisen de la Vigne, sister of the bride and wife of Pierre Voisen de la Vigne, a celebrated corsair of the King. - Prior to Livaudais' death several of his children had passed away. Two were Marie Adelaitte Livaudais (baptized October 5, 1750) and Pierre Livaudais (baptized January 8, 1752). Sieur Livaudais' will, dated April 29, 1773, list as his heirs:
