- Settled in Stafford County where he is said to have been a colonel of the militia, justice, vestryman, etc. [1]
Buried:
- Note at findagrave.com website states that he was buried in the Mason Family Cemetery but that the area is now plowed over. Only the headstone is located at the Pohick church.
- Jeremiah Bronaugh died in 1747 at forty-five years of age. He was buried in the church yard at Pohick. The marker Is still standing well preserved inside a high iron fence. The old church has been restored and on the original pews are name plates, one being that of Jeremiah Bronaugh. [5]

Sympia Rose Mason, who married first John Dinwiddie (brother of Governor Dinwiddie) who died in 1726. As she was born in 1703, she would have been 23 years old at that time. She married Jeremiah Bronnaugh about two years later in 1728.
